Pennsylvania Meat Processing Facilities
This 60 page pdf, “An Inventory of of the Processing Capacity, Products, and Services of the Meat Processing Industry in Pennsylvania,” was developed by Pennsylvania State University and the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture.
The report lists USDA-inspected and custom-exempt processors and includes regional maps of processor locations.
Because the information is based on a 2004 survey, not all processors in PA are listed, only those that responded to the survey and did not request that the information remain confidential.
A comprehensive, searchable list for processors in PA is being developed by PSU and will be posted here when available.
